Master of Education Application Process

Thank you for considering Rockhurst University's Master of Education program. We're here to help make the application process smooth for you. 

There are two two steps to complete your free application:

Entry Requirements

Before you apply, we ask that you review and complete the following requirements:

  1. Complete a baccalaureate degree at an accredited institution with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale. You also need to submit one official transcript showing all college-level coursework.
  2. Submit your graduate program application, including two letters of professional recommendations addressing your potential to serve as a teacher, along with a written essay describing your academic background, professional goals, and reasons for pursuing your M.Ed.
  3. If you are an international student applying from a non-English speaking country, please also submit TOEFL score of at least 79.

Upon graduation, M.Ed. students need to have a minimum cumulative graduate GPA of 3.0, as well as a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in all education courses, and a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in all content courses.
